BREAK BULK CARGO & PROJECT CARGO /
SASCHA CONRAD IS OUR LOGISTICS EXPERT
Sascha is a logistics expert from the bottom up. He was first employed at a plant construction company for many years. With this know-how of the industry, he managed to pull off a project which everyone else thought to be impossible. What was it?
A brewery had to be built at the Ivory Coast. To put it plainly, this meant packing 10,0000 cubic metres of machines, storage tanks and piping, then loading, shipping and finally unpacking them – a logistics feat. The engineer and owner here, the operator there.
The impossible became possible, wishes and solutions were tailor-made.
And speaking of tailor-made: thanks to our handling operations LDG, we are able to build crates and boxes according to the ISPM 15 standard. The cargo arrives at its destination in one piece and dry – if needed, it can also be vacuum-packed.
FIREWORKS /
PAY-ANDRES LÜDERS IS OUR MAN FOR HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE CARGO
For over 50 years, we have not only been caring for standard logistics and daily business matters, but also the safe transport of fireworks. In our 11,000 square metre warehouse, containers can be packed according to type and then stored – even dangerous goods classes such as 1.2G or 1.3G (UN0334/UN335) can be transported throughout Germany and Europe. And to ensure our clients receive the goods just in time for the end of the year, regardless of where they are in the world, we commission thousands of palettes – a demanding challenge that, with our experience, is a piece of cake.
And should you need transport classification for your container according to the
AdR standard, we can take care of it.
CUSTOMS AND AUTHORITIES /
JONAS CONRAD IS OUR IMPORT CHAMPION
Thanks to our own in-house logistics software running on local servers, we are able to handle all standard procedures, including fiscal representation, directly in collaboration with ATLAS. A separate online connection to another certified service supplier enables us to avoid delays in the shipping schedule. Of course we are just as savvy working with Carnet TIR or Carnet Ata as we are with paperless processes.
Should your goods need special care, we are always in close contact with the customs and other authorities, as well as with the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, and the plant health inspectors in Hamburg and Lübeck.
